SSL certificates vary greatly in price and can cost as much as £348.00 per year…. HOWEVER do not panic…….
2001 Web offers a full SSL installation service including the buying and setting up of the certificate from a trusted provider.
Installation, purchase and set up of your certificate is just £40.00 each year.
A dedicated IP address for your site (required to install any SSL certificate) £2.00 extra per month on your hosting bill.

How it works
First you order your SSL installation from 2001 web below.
We will set up your hosting account ready for SSL and set up your own unique ip address for your site. Please note that in order to have your own SSL certificate you will need your own unique IP address this is required by the SSL issuing authorities.
We will then deal with all the certificate signing requests and pass them to the SSL registrar when we buy your certificate.
The SSL registrar will then send you an email verifying that we are authorized to set this up for your site, you will need to approve that authirization by following the instructions in their email. They will then send you an email saying your certificate has been issued. Forward that email to us and we will complete the installation of your SSL certificate for you. (sometimes the registrar will send the certificate directly to us so this step may not be needed.
We will also add an SSL certified banner to your site so that your clients know they can shop securely with you.
