Yes you can.

First you need to create the product and put it in just one category. Once the product has been created you can put it in additional categories as follows.

1. From your cubecart admin click "view products" on the left.
   
2. You will then be shown a list of your products, find the  product you want to add to more catgories and click the "manage categories" link.
   
3. You will now be presented with a list of your categories and sub categories, simply click "add" next to the additional categories you want to add the product to.
