About SSL Certificates

SSL certificates have to be ordered from an SSL issuing authority and are renewable yearly. These vary greatly in price but are NOT all the same. Some really cheap certificates you can find on thw web will not work with all browsers, which means when visitors try to access your site they will get certificate warnings, this is VERY BAD for your business image.

We will give you a link below to order a qulality certificate from Go Daddy. Their cerrtificates work in all browsers and are the cheapest RELIABLE SSL certificates available.

Please follow these instructions carefully to ensure we can get this done as quick as possible for you. Also note that the £25 per year charge from 2001 web is for setting up and installing your certificate it is not for the certificate itself. You will need to pay for that yourself each year at Go Daddy.

You will also require a dedicated IP address for your site to install SSL this will cost an extra £2 per month on your hosting bill. The extra £2 per month will start from the next time you pay your hosting bill.
