Backing Up Your Main Site

To back Up your entire site do the following. Log into your cpanel by going to http://www.YOURSITE.com/cpanel Under "Site Management" click "Backup" Now click "Download a home directory Backup " NOTE: DO NOT USE THE "Generate/Download a Full Backup" make sure it is a "home directory backup". This will download a zipped version of your entire site to your PC. You will need these backups of your site in the event of any server crash, so you should do this REGULARLY If your site uses a link script, a shopping cart or any other program that uses a mysql database you should also back up your databases regularly.
