Uploading Files Using Site manager

First log into your cpanel normally

http://www.yoursite.com/cpanel

Scroll right down the page to the last box in the middle column you will see a link named "File manager" click it.

This opens in a new window so make sure your popup blocker is off.

Now before you start uploading new files you need to get to the right folder. Navigating here is similiar to navigating on your pc.

To go into a folder click the folder icon NOT the name of the file.

So first find WWW and click the FOLDER ICON next to it NOT THE WORDS

That will take you inside the public WWW folder where your sites files are.

Say you want to upload an image then first we need to get to the images folder. So find it and again click the FOLDER ICON next to the word images.

When you have navigated to the folder where you want to upload the file or image to look for the big black arrow and the words

UPLOAD FILES

this time click the words

You will now see a new window which will allow you to select the files on your pc you want to upload. So one at a time select the files you want to upload. You can do up to 12 at a time.

Make sure you check the " Overwrite existing files" box and click upload.

Thats it you have uploaded the files.
