To set up your paypal account to work with cube cart do the following:

1. Log into your paypal account
2. Click Profile
3. Click Instant Payment Notification Preferences
4. Click Edit
5. Check the little box to activate IPN
6. In the notification URL box paste the following remembering to insert your domain

http://www.YOURDOMAIN.com/modules/gateway/PayPal/ipn.php

IMPORTANT!!!
Notice the words PayPal in the url above contain 2 UPPER CASE P's THIS MUST BE THAT WAY OR PAYPAL IPN WILL NOT WORK CORRECTLY

7. Click "save"
8. Click "Back to Profile Summary"
9. Click "Website Payment Preferences"
10. Make sure auto return on is selected
11. In the return URL box paste the following remembering to insert your domain name

http://www.YOURDOMAIN.com/confirmed.php

(Note: If you get lots of payment failed errors it may be worth creating a custom payment received page in "site documents" If you do this replace the above url with the url of your custom page. You will also need the show hidepages modification if you wish to to this. See the order section in your members area. Or the cubecart mods section of the main site.

12. Make sure payment data transfer is off
13. Block Non-encrypted Website Payment: OFF
14. PayPal Account Optional: ON
15. Contact Telephone OFF
16. Click Save

Setup complete
